Anthony's Townhouse is the place to stay while exploring the history, culture, and famous sports teams that Boston has to offer. The Townhouse is walking distance from many attractions, and steps away from the MBTA trolley system to get to the rest of the city.

Boston is known as a walking city where one can experience the history of yesteryear by tour bus or walking the well known "Freedom Trail", which begins at the Boston Common, easily accessed from our guest house by taking train to the Park St. Exit stop, a 10 minute ride.

Museum of Fine Arts and the Isabella Stuart Gardner Museum are walking distance away. Also visit the early home of President John F. Kennedy in Brookline.

Walk to Fenway Park, home to the World Series winning baseball team the Boston Red Sox, located in Kenmore Square 15 minutes by foot or two stops on the subway. The Boston Bruins Hockey Team and the Boston Celtics Basketball Team is 20 minutes by subway to the TD Garden at North Station. The New England Patriots Football Team and the New Evolution Soccer Team at Gillette Stadium 45 minutes by train. Kenmore Square is also known for music venues & dance clubs on Landsdown St.

Hynes Convention Center, three stops by subway, also Symphony Hall to enjoy concerts and the Boston Pops Orchestra, cross Massachusetts Ave to the Christian Science World Headquarters to the visit Mary Baker Eddy Library & do not miss the Mapparium Prudential Sky Walk Observatory & Shops, John Hancock Tower, Trinity Church, Boston Public Library, First Municpal Library in the United States.
